Questioning College?

You are no longer alone, and Blake Boles has compiled a list of terrific resources to help you make the best decision.

Skipping or dropping out of college is a huge decision. Even temporarily bypassing higher education is a choice that must be made consciously and intentionally.

The thing is, there aren’t very many guidance counselors that tell you not to go to college, or advisors to tell you how. Unless someone’s been blessed with a 100% supportive family, or who have been tipped off to such networks as Zero Tuition College, it’s often a new trail to be blazed solo.

Fortunately, the internet has recently stepped in to help us all in this case.
Blake Boles, founder of Zero Tuition College, Unschool Adventures, and author of College Without Highschool, recently compiled a list of the “Top 10 College Articles from 2011.” The list ranges from theory on why you should reconsider college to articles on what you can do instead, and includes several hugely powerful pieces that examine the whys and hows of the college choice.

Blake’s list is an excellent resource for those just beginning to reconsider higher education, for those needing a refresher on why they chose that path, and for everyone in between. Good luck to all of you!
